Reasons for going solar at our residence include reducing our carbon footprint, hedge against raising utility electricity costs, control over our own power production & consumption, and showing others what can be done in our community.
We live in the Pac NW surrounded by huge evergreen trees, but are still able to use the sun’s natural energy to provide power to our residence – currently about 30% of our total demand. Read more about our home’s solar energy production.
